I AM A CITIZEN OF THE WORLD !!!
When I think about life's journey and detours, I find its challenges often more difficult thenthey seemed at first. The higher you climb, the greater they get and the deeper the fall appears. You have to be very determined, and my philosophy: goals are attainable when set right. So "I slowed down and stopped trying to meet a self-imposed timeline". Forget about how far the target is and just focused on one minute at a time; while I remind myself to breathe.
As I was contemplating the peaks and valleys, I stumbled across a hot of the press magazine of Oprah. I skimmed through it and the last page caught my attention; because I felt I was on the same wave length.
"It makes no difference how many peaks you reach if there was no pleasure in the climb."
I was even more determined to let each step become its own accomplishment, and take time to enjoy every level.
So I am taking time to really enjoy the view right where I am at any given time. It's all in the journey !!!
